Born and raised in South Carolina, Brian left his home to attend the U.S. Naval Academy, and spend almost 15 years of military service all over the world as a Navy pilot and surface warfare officer. After another decade working in the corporate sector, he discovered his interests for photography and videography, and a new hobby was born. As a former athlete and longtime youth sports coach, Brian’s work originally focused on sports and action genres, and he pursued this newfound passion into graduate school, expanding his repertoire to commercial and editorial photography.
Brian's commercial projects include promotional work for professional boxer Shane Mosley Jr. and the Las Vegas Thrill professional women's volleyball team, promotional and music videos for Human Nature/Tierney Brothers, and extensive motorsports work for Vegas SuperKarts, Snap-On, Momo, Starwood Jeep, Toyota, and SpeedVegas which was featured in Forbes. His professional portfolio ranges from commercial landscape work to still life and volunteer work for both the Southern Nevada Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and the Nevada Red Cross. Brian has done extensive photographic and print/banner work for schools and sports teams all over the Las Vegas Valley.
Based in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Brian still loves to work with athletes in almost every type of sport, motorsports, or anywhere his work takes him. Brian's approach to his work connects the viewer to these subjects in a nuanced, but powerful way through strong visuals, unique perspectives, and dynamic images that push the boundaries between editorial, commercial and form-based art.
